Set and forget

Once you've installed ProBak each backup will run automatically on schedule even if you're not in the office. You don't need to change tapes or remember to take your CD or DVD home with you each night. After each backup has completed, we will e-mail you to confirm that everything went ok.


Fast initial backup

If you've got a large amount of data to protect then you need to select a solution which isn’t going to take days or even weeks to upload. ProBak supports an accelerated initial backup which allows the initial backup of a large volume of data to an external hard drive which we will courier to you. We would then collect the drive and upload your data directly in our data centre which provides much faster speeds. Subsequent backups will then be made incrementally over the internet. Additionally, in case of a disaster, the backup data can also be restored using a local hard drive. This allows you to be back in business ultra-fast. This feature allows SLA-based disaster recovery as an additional service to the online backup service.Of course, all backup data on a local hard drive is fully secured and encrypted.

ProBak performs a secure and efficient backup of your Microsoft Exchange or SQL Server even while they’re running.


Backup your open files

ProBak backs up both closed and open files. Leveraging Microsoft's latest Volume Shadow-Copy Service (VSS) framework, you do not have to shut down any applications during the backup process, for example Word/Excel and even Outlook is backed up, even when they are in use.


Recover data instantly

If the worst happens and you do need to recover your data, relax. ProBak improves productivity by allowing instant online recovery. Simply open the ProBak console, select the file or folder you wish to recover and let ProBak take control. It even pulls your files back to the original location on your server.
